You don’t have to go far for a great road trip
Richmond Auto Mall has been in the community for more than 35 years, so we know our neighbourhood pretty well. After more than a year of travel restrictions, you might be looking to get behind the wheel, hit the highway, and head out of town on an adventure. However, you don’t have to go far to find some road-trip-worthy destinations. So grab your keys and head out on our Richmond road trip:
Stop #1: Rev it up at Richmond Auto Mall
If you haven’t visited Richmond Auto Mall in person lately, we suggest stopping by before you head out on the road. With 16 dealerships and 19 brands in one location, you may just end up finding your next road trip vehicle.

Located just a 3 minute drive from Richmond Auto Mall, the Richmond Nature Park spans 200 acres of raised peat bog habitat, making it an excellent place to view a variety of bird species and plants. The park features four walking trails of varying distance and offers self-guided tours as well as an interpretive centre staffed by a knowledgeable naturalist. Every season brings a different experience at the Richmond Nature Park, making it an excellent destination to return to over and over.

Stop #3: Stop for lunch in Steveston Village
This historic fishing village offers visitors a multitude of things to do and explore. Visit the various National Historic Sites, buy fresh seafood along Fisherman’s Wharf, or fill your belly at one of the dozens of restaurants in the village.

Take in incredible views of working boats and log booms, the South Vancouver skyline, and airplanes taking off and landing at the nearby Vancouver International Airport. With long beaches, picnic areas, and a boat launch, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the area, which is located on Sea Island along the North Arm of the Fraser River.

Stop #5: Get inspired at the Sharing Farm

The Sharing Farm is a community farm run by more than 1,000 volunteers. The goal of the farm is to grow and provide fresh produce to those in the community who are less fortunate — the organization donated 14,440lbs of food to the Richmond Food Bank in 2020! The Sharing Farm offers weekly harvest baskets for purchase. You can also drop in to a volunteer session at 9am Mondays and Fridays to learn how to help out.
